Biography:
When Piero was still a baby, Piero’s parents throw him away because he was their illegitimate children from a forbidden relationship. Luckily, someone found him and brought him to an orphanage. One day, a wealthy merchant found him, adopted and raised him like he was his own son. The merchant already had a daughter, Elena. He grew up with his new family happily and he learned a lot from his new father. The merchant taught him navigation, economics, history, and even swordplay, just in case pirates came to steal from them. His father also prepared Piero to be his successor, to take over his merchant business. Meanwhile, Piero has a good relationship with his step sister. They liked to play around, playing various games along with the ship crews. They all together traveled to many places around the world while their father did his job and they learnt many new knowledges about new places.

Until one day, Pirates raided his father's ship, taking all the valuables and killing the ship crews. When his father was trying to defend his ship, he was stabbed by the pirate captain and left dying. As his life slipped away, the merchant ordered his most trusted crew to take Piero and Elena to safety. Piero and Elena were safe in the end, but not for the crew and Elena. There was time when they got deserted in a foreign place ,somehow Elena and the crew caught influenza, a really bad one. At first, they only suffered from a light fever. But the fever became worse and worse... Fortunately, a passing group of soldiers spotted them and took them to custody. But the soldiers were too late, the high fever already taken the crew's life and Elena's eyes. Fortunately, Piero only suffered from bad fever and blood cough, the virus still hasn't damaged his body too much.

After that, the soldiers took Piero and Elena to nearby church to be taken care of. The Curch accepted them openly, like how they accepted the orphans that live there. Piero keep taking care of his sister, doing his best to make his sister happy. One day, some Templars came to the curch to fetch several things for their captain (probably Apple of Eden related). Piero saw them and ask the priest who are they. The priest answered that they are the Templars, the people who will create a perfect world, a world with no conflict. Young Piero listened to the priest's explanation of Templars and amazed by the story. The priest asked Piero if he wanted to be a part of a holy quest to create a better, perfect world. Piero of course answered yes, and later he started his service to the Templars.
